Meet the Team

I have always been interested in skin and health treatments and knew this was the industry for me.  After working in health clubs and salons I always knew that I wanted to open my own salon.

 
Bodywise first opened in 1990 in Whitefield Manchester, then in 1993 I felt the need to expand  and moved to my home town of Bolton. For 3 years I ran my business above a busy hairdressing salon in the town centre. In 1996 Bodywise relocated to bigger premises in Horwich.  I had the desire to create a warm professional calm environment, which was soley dedicated to skin and health care treatments - this is where you will find us today.

Over the years I have gained invaluable experience and am constantly updating my knowledge and skills. My aim is always to bring all our the clients the most effective and up to date products and treatments.

I am extremely passionate about my work, and thrive on helping people feel good about themselves - my aim is to create results.

I am particular interested in how the skin works and how I can help change and improve problematic and ageing skin bringing you perfection in complexion.

At Bodywise we want you to take some time for you, relax with a refreshing drink prior to your treatment, begin to unwind away from all the hustle and bustle of your hectic life.  I hope you enjoy your Bodywise experience.

I feel very privileged to be working alongside a fantastic team, who are all highly trained and experienced.

I have been part of the team now since 2004.  I qualified and graduated as a teacher of Beauty Therapy at the University of Central Lancashire in 2011. My role involves working with Kathryn to ensure that our team is trained to a high standard to enable us to always perform excellent treatments.

I enjoy performing all treatments - in particular electrolysis and skin treatments.  I continue to update my skills with additional courses and attend trade shows to research new treatments. My passion for results is what I thrive on when treating clients in the salon.

I am currently on maternity leave.

I have worked at Bodywise since 2009. I particularly enjoy carrying out massage treatments, skin treatments and Jessica Geleration. I enjoy interacting with all the clients and helping them relax and take time for themselves. I enjoy being part of a team, as we all work closely and I feel this adds to the warm salon environment.

I joined the Bodywise team in 2010.  I have always had an interest in how our bodies work and how beauty treatments can not only improve our appearance but more importantly improve how we feel about ourselves.  I love making clients feel fantastic and feel very lucky to work within a team that is passionate about what we do.   Before joining Bodywise I trained as an elite waxing therapist along with carrying out all other beauty treatments that we offer.  I specialise in advanced wax treatments including Hollywoods and Brazilians.  The best thing about working at Bodywise is that we are constantly retraining and learning new techniques, which means we can give our clients the very best experience.

I previously worked at Bodywise in 2005, but then left to have my youngest child.  I worked freelance for several years while my children were young. I returned to the salon in 2012 to work alongside Kathryn and Lorna in helping manage the team.  I am so glad to be back working with such an enthusiastic team of people in a fantastic environment.  I love all aspects of my job, especially electrolysis and skin treatments - but most of all I enjoy making clients feel good about themselves.  My aim is to continue to increase my knowledge and skills to always provide clients with the most up to date treatments and service.
